Michelisz Hungary to improve in WTCR
Norbert Michelisz will be aiming to build on his triple points-scoring start to the 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO when the series heads to his native Hungary later this month.
The national hero finished in the top 10 in all races that made up the WTCR AFRIQUIA Race of Morocco weekend. But having missed out on a Marrakech podium, Michelisz will be hoping for better results when WTCR / OSCARO season two resumes at the Hungaroring from 26-28 April.
“It was a very tough race weekend for me,” said the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver. “P15 in qualifying for Race 2 and 3 was not ideal, especially on a street circuit where it’s difficult to overtake. However, it was a solid performance and we scored important points. I will try to improve for Hungary.”
