When Jennifer Love Hewitt isn't busy working on a hit network drama, she's busy expanding her career empire in a way that hits close to home.

In a post uploaded on Instagram on April 17, the 9-1-1 star announced she would be adding to her book catalog with a new addition that is close to her heart. Jennifer revealed her plans to publish a memoir about her life, titled Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration and Making Everything Magical, which will debut in December 2024. What's more, the actress brought a personal touch to the surprise news, as the book cover shows her alongside daughter Autumn and sons Atticus and Aidan (all of whom she shares with husband Brian Hallisay).

"Here it is! My new baby!" she excitedly wrote. "This incredible cover was done by an angel @the_life_of_aivax I can’t believe how lucky I was to get her for this book! Moms who create magic are special! And she is a magic maker for sure. Can’t wait for you guys to read it! @benbellabooks."

So, what exactly is Jennifer's new book about? Well, according to the publisher, Inheriting Magic explores wisdom Jennifer learned from her late mother Patricia, who died of cancer in 2012. The release also notes she is looking to embrace her mom's mission of "making ordinary days special and special days unforgettable," which will include memories, photos, recipes and more.

It's also important to note Jennifer's upcoming book isn't the only time she's written about her life. Back in 2010, she published a book about love, which she aptly titled The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I'm a Love-aholic.
